Comprehensive Training Program
The Comprehensive Training Program takes participants through each phase of the IAM Organizing Program. The class is assigned a target which is an actual overview of a company which has been organized by the IAM. The participants must take the target from the survey and research stage through an election plus negotiate a first contract. This programs is designed to give full time staff, the personal as well as the technical skills to be a successful organizer in the field.

- Using the IAM Organizing & Mapping Software
- Dealing with Union Busters
- Running the Blitz
- Signing Petitions
- Selecting & Training the Workplace Team
- Using the NLRB
- Election Day Strategies
- Communicating with workers
- Getting the first contract
