This Week at the Winpisinger Center
Art Fund
Jim Leslie, Director of the Winpisinger Center commissioned and worked with a local artist in designing sculptures for the new wing of the Education Center. With the input of the W3 art committee, Artist Joshua Dylan Brauns created six sculptures of metal measuring approximately 4 feet by 7 feet. These figures symbolize the various aspects of work done by members of our union. They are dedicated to the spirit and commitment of IAMAW members who make the Winpisinger Center an integral part of their Union.
The sculptures are displayed in the second floor windows of the new wing. For a detailed view click on the thumbnail figures below.
The W3 Center will raise money to pay for the sculptures by accepting donations of $10.00 - $15.00 from IAM members. The goal is to solicit a large number of donations in small amounts so the new artwork is paid by a large number of members and represents our Union as a whole.
